And finally, there is no scenario where giving authorities backdoors into encrypotion does not introduce more risk for everyone. They've been touting the 'going dark' argument since the 90s. Nothing has changed except that we've moved into the 21st century, become more reliant on our digital stores and devices, and we need secure privacy now more than ever.
